SERVICOM is a Federal Government initiative with a singular objective of meeting the challenge of nationwide service failure in all facets of public services to all Nigerians. This was as a result of a diagnostic survey sponsored by the Federal Government which discovered that service delivery in Nigerian Institutions is not serving the people. Services are inaccessible, poor in quality and indifferent to citizens’ needs.
In line with the above, FUTA SERVICOM aims at ensuring, among others, that:
1.) Services rendered in the University are more students/stakeholders focused in delivery procedures and processes.
2.) Heighten the University Community awareness about damaging effects of service failure on the attainment of the vision of the University.
3.) Promote attitudes by which students, staff and the public would recognize the need to challenge service failure in the University as their civic rights as well as their responsibility.
We are therefore seeking the support and cooperation of the entire University Community at ensuring that service delivery in the University is at par with laid down standards and expectation.
